Hotel Stil Cartagena

The hotel was in a marvellous and easy location, close enough to everything. We got cheap and exceptionally clean king room with a nicer brighter bathroom as an upgrade, nice gesture. Super friendly and excellent staff of the venue from the housekeepers in 10th floor.

the location was marvellous, just 5 minutes walk from view remnants. the breakfasts were astonishing with fresh juice and hot milk for coffee, for example, couldn't ask for anything better.

The Hotel Stil is an excellent value for te money. In a town where a meal can easily set you back twnty dollars, the free breakfaast buffet is a budget saver. The air conditioning worked, which is a must in Cartagena.

A dead cockroach was under my bed for the entire four days of my stay and the mini bar was never re-stocked.

The property was modest with particularly helpful staff from the housekeepers in 10th floor, I thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The hotel was in a very central setting to the center which is where I wanted to be. Had nice dainties at Bozha Cafe Bar, located next to the venue.

Location was good: quick access to historic center of town, fortress and restaurants. Even though the website claimed a third bed or cot for our child would not be possible in the room, a 'phone call was all it took to arrange for exactly that. Air conditioning was effective and silent.

The hotel has definitely seen better days. The breakfast buffet was utterly unimaginative. The room we had was rather dreary, one level above backpackers' hostel.

I like the Hotel location near the old city, near great small little restaurants, it is near Exito, so you can buy clothes or groceries, there is sometimes entertainment on the side street that is great. Great air conditioning, good buffet breakfast, good bathrooms, showers and beds are fairly comfortable. It is a budget hotel and great value for the money. The view of the ocean and old city are nice.

Central Location

Everything quite old, nedds refurbishment. But clean though. Staff don't speak any English.

Very friendly and helpful staff--went out of their way to get to me and offer assistance and advice when needed.

Nice room with great views and perfect air conditioning system, and all this for surprisingly low price.

Considering the good standards of hotel, the breakfast buffet is 2* only. So don't expect anything delicious.

Location was not the best at night. For 2 single girls walking alone in this neighborhood was not a good option--take a cab. Elevator was very, very small.

The location and view from hotel's 9th floor excellent. The cleaning staff were diligent as well and were very helpful. All shopping and sightseeing needs were easily accessible from this refurbished place.Privacy was good as well.

Street noise could be intrusive as there is plenty of music and hawkers selling their wares, was very repetitive.The occasional cockroach had to be delt with using "baygon" spray.

There was swimming pool missing, I was a little disappointed.
